Gold Never Looked Better on HYCU R-Cloud as It Wins TechTarget Annual Award

R-Graph feature called out for ease to detect and visualize all data, including SaaS applications

We’re slightly past the mid-point of the first month of a new year, 2024 to be exact, and the annual awards from 2023 submissions are already starting to be announced.

Like we’ve said in the past, “Winning Awards Never Gets Old.”

And, like in the past, this year is no different.

Today, is a particularly memorable day for everyone at HYCU as TechTarget announced their Annual Award winners for “The best enterprise data storage products of 2023.” We’re extremely proud to share that HYCU R-Cloud won Gold for “The top backup and disaster recovery services of 2023.”

As TechTarget noted in the article announcing the Awards:

Judges were impressed by HYCU Inc.'s R-Cloud, particularly its protection of SaaS applications. As the first low-code development platform for data protection, R-Cloud enables SaaS companies and service providers to rapidly deliver native backup and recovery.

"HYCU really sets the bar for SaaS data backup and protection," one judge said. "Its ease of integration for both end users and SaaS providers stands out."

Of 50 odd nominations, judges comprised of a panel of industry experts including consultants, analysts, users, and editors, helped select winners in four categories: backup and disaster recovery hardware, software and services; cloud storage; disk and disk subsystems; and storage system and application software.

When our Founder and CEO Simon Taylor and SVP Product Subbiah Sundaram stood before a packed house in Silicon Valley slightly under a year ago previewing R-Cloud to rave reviews, we knew we were delivering significant innovation and data protection capabilities to an unserved area of the market, SaaS applications.

With more than 30,000 SaaS applications available globally and more than 200 in use in the average mid-size enterprise, the need was there. And, when you factor in that more than 50% of successful ransomware attacks happen through SaaS, the need became critical.

Now with more than 60 SaaS services and applications with enterprise-class data protection courtesy of the amazing engineering team at HYCU, this award makes all of us proud.
